Introduction of the Institute

The Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh is a pioneer in pharmacy education in the entire North Eastern region. The institute has proudly completed 60 years of excellence in pharmacy education and has established itself as a leading Centre of Excellence in the country.

The institute’s alumni are actively engaged in various fields across the country and abroad. They contribute as healthcare professionals, community pharmacists, hospital pharmacists, social health service providers, manufacturing unit personnel, law enforcement officers, academicians, and researchers at different levels.

Currently, the institute offers Diploma and Degree courses in Pharmacy and envisions the introduction of postgraduate programs in the near future to further strengthen its academic offerings.
