Guidelines for State Quota Students for Admission at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh
Admission Fees:
  • For All India Quota/State Quota Students: Rs. 24,000/- (including hostel)

  • Additional Counselling Fees for State Quota Students: Rs. 1,000/-

Important Instructions:
  • State quota students must appear before the Medical Board and Scrutiny Board positively before 1:00 PM on the admission dates.

  • If a student fails to appear, they will have to attend on the next day.

  • Original Annexure – I to IX/Declaration of Parents (as applicable) must be enclosed separately with Schedule-I Form (available for download from the DME website).

  • Candidates must keep extra photocopies of their original documents for future reference.

Steps to be Followed:
  1. Candidates must undergo a mandatory Medical Examination before document verification.

  2. Admission fees can be paid by Cash or UPI during admission/document submission.

  3. Admission Fees: Rs. 24,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Four Thousand Only)

  4. Refund on Upgradation of College: Rs. 21,500/- (Rupees Twenty-One Thousand Five Hundred Only)

Documents Required for Physical Reporting and Verification

(Original documents along with attested photocopies)

  1. Allotment Letter issued by MCC.

  2. Admit Card of Exam issued by NTA.

  3. Result/Rank Letter issued by NTA.

  4. Date of Birth Certificate (if not mentioned in 10th Certificate).

  5. Class 10th Certificate.

  6. Class 10+2 Certificate.

  7. Class 10+2 Marks Sheet.

  8. Proof of Identity (Aadhar/PAN/Driving Licence/Passport).

  9. For NRI/OCI candidates (for Deemed Universities), mandatory documents include:

    • Passport copy of sponsor and embassy certificate.

    • Sponsorship affidavit (declaring financial responsibility for the student).

    • Relationship affidavit (clarifying relation between candidate and sponsor).

  10. If applicable, candidates should also bring:

  • SC/ST Certificate issued by competent authority (in English or Hindi, with sub-caste mentioned).

  • OBC Certificate as per the Central List (should not belong to Creamy Layer).

  • Disability Certificate from an authorized Medical Board as per the RPWD Act, 2016.

  • EWS Certificate in the prescribed format.

  1. Online Relieving Letter from the previous college (if applicable).

  • Candidates without original certificates/documents will not be allowed admission.


Mandatory Agreement for All Students (All India & State Quota)

All students must submit an agreement stating that on completion of their MBBS course, they shall serve the Government of Assam for a minimum period of five (5) years upon offer of appointment in any State Government Service in the Health and Allied sector, including NHM agencies/institutions or any other State/Central Government-sponsored schemes. This includes at least one (1) year of rural service.
